My primary problem is that I live in South America. Shipping is pretty expensive so I'm making do with what I can find here. Which is minimal. I live in a town of about 60,000 but there's only a small fabric store. Currently they carry viyella (a thinner version of flannel) in light blue and light pink; that's it. No true flannel at all. My hubby and I spent an afternoon trying to track down a bigger fabric store in Cordoba, the closest big city, but none of the ones we found had flannel at all. A friend just told me about another place to check the next time we go to Cordoba. I'm still hopeful! And if all else fails, when we go to Buenos Aires later this year I think I can find some because there is a growing community of quilters there. Thanks for the tip on where to find the flannel.
