Imagine my surprise!

This afternoon, I had the most lovely surprise waiting for me. My friend Alie, seen here with her lovely family,
surprised me for my birthday. When I got home, I had a very large package waiting for me. I didn’t recognize the return address, so I opened the package, and imagine my shock when I found this waiting for me!
That’s right! The very same painting that I posted about a few weeks ago by this amazing artist! So, it now has a place of honor in my living room, so it will be the first thing you see when you walk into my house!
It pulls together all the colors so nicely, and it looks like it has always belonged there! I love it. It was the perfect present, and a total surprise that I didn’t agonize over…the best part! I can’t thank her enough!
The hubby even likes it! Sorry, I just had to get this picture in here of him. Isn’t he a cutie!
