Walking through a Paris antique market….
Jun 3rd, 2008 by Sandy
As we were walking through all the stalls of cool old marble mantles and cool old prints, there was one lone stall that looked like it was full of modern antique furniture. I looked at Alie, my wife (a story for another day), and said:
Me: That stuff kinda looks like you.
Alie: Really? I don’t think I like it.
Me: Huh, maybe not then.
Alie: Wait…would you look at that couch?
Me: Oh my god, that is an odd one.
Alie: It looks like a turd.
Me: Wow, it really does.
Alie: Could you imagine having someone walk into your house? Please, come in. Shit! I mean, sit!
Me: <giggles>
Alie (after a minute or so): I am pretty proud of myself. That was pretty funny!
