Sandy Anderson... I miss your spunk in my life!

I'm excited for your new home to make your own and the little peanut!! Congrats!

I still contest that you are the best English teacher ever. I miss your energy and zest for life! Joe is a lucky man, and the little peanut is (err... will be?) a lucky kid!

I'm looking forward to reading more!

(Feel free to circle in red any grammatical errors in the above statement.)

Lovely!!! I'm all for the browns actually, I think that it leaves you room to make fun accents with art and furniture. Our dining room and master bath are a color very close to the soft denim. I love it because it's formal-ish with out being snooty.

I LOVE the pumpkin batter for the master bath, I think that the other (copper) color might look too much like Halloween with black features.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Geranium Leaf for My Room (which I will share with EM). And if you're really worried about it clashing with that red duvet, you could paint 1 wall GL and the others Crisp Celery.

However it ends up, I know it will be gorgeous. We 4(!!) can't wait to see it.
Love to you all, hugs and squeezes all around.

Thanks for sharing, Sandy. What dilemmas!

We painted our kitchen a fairly bright green because we wanted something bright in contrast to the neutrals in the rest of the house. I matched a paint chip to a color in a backsplash tile. It certainly matched, but looked much brighter once we got it on. I've enjoyed the green (kind of an intense spring green), but I'm ready to repaint the kitchen and tone it down just a bit. We've had it 9 years, and the scabs of everyday living demands some repainting be done now.
